About Jemma:
Jemma’s interest in makeup stems from her work as a model and stylist. As Mary Greenwell’s assistant for 5 years, working alongside her at the Paris, Milan and London shows, she was spotted by Premier Hair & Makeup Agency, one of England’s top agencies and was signed to their books in 1999. Jemma was signed by makeup giant Max Factor in 2000 as their U.K spokesperson and for Rimmel London in 2004. Jemma’s first advertising campaign was for Gianfranco Ferre with Peter Lindbergh. She has since worked with photographers including David Bailey, Arthur Elgort and Bryan Adams and on titles including Italian Vogue, US Vogue, Vanity Fair, W, Biba, Nylon and ID. The Jemma Kidd Makeup School was founded in 2002 to provide budding makeup artists with the skills required by the modern professional, including training in creative design, digital media, business management and self representation. Jemma’s own makeup brand, Jemma Kidd Makeup School, is stocked all around the globe. She has recently collaborated with Target on a diffusion line, The JK Collection.
