FFF LOVES… Lanolips in Rhubarb. The delicious shade was inspired by her Grandmother’s rhubarb and banana puddings. Mmm… lipsmacking.

EAT:   Prêt a Manger, London.  They make the worlds BEST lobster sandwich for under a tenner.

EAT: Laduree in paris for macaroons. Friend’s babies have been conceived as a result of these little beauties.

SHOP:  Valentino Flagship Boutique in Paris (17-19, Avenue Montaigne 75008) for sentimental reasons. This is where I bought the suit I was married in.

EAT: At any corner Hotdog stand in New York. A very guilty pleasure.

EAT: In Capri, succulent tomatoes cut into thick slices and drizzled with sea salt and fresh lemon.  This was done for us on a little shanty boat, by a little old man, by hand from his esky, He grew the tomatoes himself - I can still taste it today.

SHOP:  The Ralph Lauren Flagship in New York – my wardrobe staple, this has the best selection (and the best sales) of any RL store in the world.

EAT: mouth-watering boccocini at any corner restaurant in Positano.

STAY: L’Hotel, (13 Rue des Beaux-Arts 75006 Paris, France 01 44 41 99 00) in The Latin Qtr in Paris where Oscar Wilde used to lay his head and think crazy thoughts.

EAT: Club 55 in St Tropez (Plage de Pampelonne 83350 St Tropez, France 04 94 55 55 55) where a massive platter of raw vegetables strangely becomes like ordering caviar, in prestige and price.  The most glamorous and exciting restaurant in the world. There is nothing quite like it.

SHOP: Any J.Crew Store in the US, for everyday basics, they do the best job in the world of simple affordable stylish luxury.  And any company that can double their earnings in a recession is doing something right.

About Kirsten Carriol:
Kirsten Carriol has spent 10 years owning and running her own PR Agency specialising in all things beauty, cosmetics, hair care and other gorgeous, lifestyle products. Kirsten has also consulted on colour ranges for beauty companies.

Kirsten used lanolin as a little girl when her Father, a Professor of Molecular Biology & Genetics insisted that it was simply the best moisturiser a skin could get. Couple this with many farm holidays at her Grandparents property where she spent hours in the sheep shearing sheds, lanolin became an integral part of her childhood. As time passed on she discovered lip glaces, lip glosses and lipsticks, but never really found anything that lived up to lanolin.

Six years ago on her way to the airport in Paris she was contemplating the long flight ahead and lack of products good enough for the drying on-air climate. It was then that she decided to bring lanolin back to the world and Lanolips™ was born. A labour of love ever since, Kirsten has finally created her dream product… merging glamour, nature, no-nonsense and simplicity.

Kirsten is truly addicted to the perfection of lanolin and wants everyone to rediscover this magical ingredient.
