About Philip Truelove:
Philip Truelove’s background is influenced by a multitude of countries: born in Sri Lanka, Philip was educated in Europe and, as well as working in both London and Paris, he has worked in three major US cities – Washington DC, Los Angeles and, of course, New York, with stints at world renowned properties including The Ritz London, The Ritz Paris, The Ritz Carlton in Washington DC, The Chateau Marmont in Hollywood, The Mercer Hotel New York, and currently as GM for The Greenwich Hotel New York. Philip and his partner have also owned and operated the Island Inn on Monhegan Island, Maine for the past 15 years.
