FFF loves… this witty and fabulous guide on how to stay classic, gorgeous and graceful.

What are your staples?
Skirts, heels and jackets. Those three items can be so versatile, so I always stock up on them.

What are your indulgences?
Dresses - I go to a lot of events that require me to get out of my pajamas, so I love shopping for dresses - Chloe, Marc Jacobs, Nicole Miller, etc.

What can’t you live without?
M.A.C.
lip gloss. Enough said.

What is past its use-by-date?
My Chuck Taylor’s. I can’t believe I’m admitting this, but I’ve had them since I was a junior in high school! I wear them so much, I just can’t bring myself to part with them.

What is your wardrobe craving?
Ruffles and buttons! At the risk of sounding like a crazy person, I will be honest and tell you that I cannot get enough ruffles and buttons into my wardrobe. I don’t care if it’s a military jacket or leather skirt - if it has ruffles or buttons on it, you can be sure that I’ll probably be buying it.

About Jordan Christy:
Jordan Christy is a music publicist and has worked with dozens of artists and celebrities, in addition to various TV and media outlets. She has also written for local and national fashion magazines and music trade publications. She currently lives in Nashville, Tennessee with her husband Drew and their baby girl Paisley.

About How to be a Hepburn in a Hilton World:
In a society driven by celebutante news and myspace profiles, women of class, style and charm are hard to come by. The Audrey and Katharines of the world continue to lose their lustre as thongs, rehab and outrageous behaviour burn up the daily headlines. But, despite appearances, guys still want a girl they can take home to their mother, employers still like to see a tailored suit and peers still respect classy conduct. So is it possible to maintain old fashioned virtues in a modern world without looking like a starchy Amish grandma? Christy shows women how in this guide to glamorous style, professional success and true love…the classy way.  Full of fun assignments, notable names and real-life examples, Christy offers a new look at seemingly ‘old fashioned’ advice. She covers diet, speech, work ethic, friends, relationships, manners, makeup and fashionable yet modest clothing, showing modern ladies how they can be beautiful, intelligent and fun while retaining values and morals.

What is your wardrobe craving?
Anything by Derek Lam this season.

About Poppy King (in her own delightful words!):
“I started my own lipstick brand in 1992 in Melbourne Australia when I was about 6 months out of high school and had just turned 18. I did this not because I was a chemist, a make up artist, a designer or anything else (I was barely an adult and sometimes wonder if I am one yet!) I did this because I couldn’t find any lipsticks I liked. They were all thin, slimy and too greasy feeling. Plus there were no deep colors or browns and most reds went pink. I wanted lipsticks that gave me the look of the 1940’s. Rich, opaque and filled with pigment. So… On a whim I found manufactures to mix up some lipsticks, a business partner and the nerve to approach a few stores. It became a runaway success! For 12 years I had a brand called Poppy that specialized in all sorts of lipsticks and lip glosses (I am obsessed with the lips and every possible color, texture, finish and technology there is to make your lips look amazing). During those 12 years I experienced many of the ups and downs involved in running a business so when I was approached in 2002 to move to New York and join a large cosmetic company I decided it was time for me to try something new.

Which I did… However my fascination, obsession and borderline insanity regarding specialized lipsticks and lip products would not leave me. So last year I decided once again to return to having my own business and the obsession that has been with me since my school days. The obsession for designing unusual lipsticks infused with all the glamour, the fun, the style and the cheekiness that is inherent in being female. Lipstick Queen is not your average brand…. Everything you see, feel, touch and experience with it comes directly from me to you. I am still not a chemist, make up artist or anything else. I am just like you… I am a customer and as a customer I want something truly special… So that is what I put into every shade, texture and finish. A very special eye and a very committed soul!”

I start my working day very early as I have to liaise with our New York office before my day at the Sydney office even begins - plus I have to juggle this with getting two small children ready for their days as well, as you can imagine it doesn’t leave me much time to coordinate an outfit! So my work day staples usually consist of pieces which I can easily mix and match such as my Chloe black wide leg pants, a sharp black blazer, True Religion jeans and crisp Herringbone shirts. If I want to glam up for a work function then I pair with a dressy top, heels and statement jewellery - I love Harlequin Market on Oxford Street, they have a fab range of vintage & new pieces. Also I love my Burberry black trench for Winter which goes with everything, and always looks chic.

I spend a lot of my time jetting around the world as ModelCo have offices In New York and Hong Kong as well as Sydney, so my casual wear for weekends wear or travel wear usually consists of comfortable, luxurious pieces which don’t crease such as a beautiful cashmere wrap cardigan, Bassike tee’s In all different colours, a pair of jeans & a pair of French Sole ballet flats.
